Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Such a great line! I know that fic well. In fact, I think I suggested Susie Bright to the author, while I was doing sort-of-beta.

I'd never heard of Susie Bright before then, so I was quite baffled.

"Are you criticising our Neville's dress sense?"

"No. I'm merely commenting on Draco's tendency to regard relationships as home improvement projects."

Yep, I'm reading it again.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Dude! I think this might earn me the mini-Bar-B-Q set!

sneers at toasters.

I just love Granny Longbottom. She rules.

You could!

I always think of Granny Weatherall when I read Granny Longbottom.

Go on, Tep. It's fun. There's snarkage, there's swashbuckling, there's romance, there's more snarkage. There's woobiedom and heart-in-mouth moments. There's Big Gay Love, and Big Heterosexual Oost, and a host of really lovely original characters. And shitloads of research & little touches that root it very firmly in Modern Britain. Hell, in the North of England.

woobiedom? A new word.

Loved Draco's Post Traumatic Stress issues and his reaction to the castle.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Chalk up another convert. I just read the first chapter of LoP, and I'm still giggling. It's so well written that I despair of ever writing anything I'd be willing to show in public.

Fay, when will you be eligible for the 9-piece dining room set?
