We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Where The Wild Things Are?

Aww... I kinda think this should be a Henson film.

Movie Midpoints.

Ooh, I got nine!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I got nine, too. Woulda got ten if I hadn't second guessed myself. Woulda got twelve if the pictures weren't so damn tiny, because four of the shots were from four of my favorite films, one from one of my favorite scenes in that film. Now I feel stoopid and blind.

But, still, some of the film choices were puzzling -- The Devil Wears Prada is so iconic that anyone should be expected to recognize a midfilm screenshot? Buh?

Fourteen. I was pretty sure of the ones I got, but agree that some of film choices were bizarre. Reality Bites?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I would have gotten more if I had been able to actually see the people in the teeny-tiny pictures...

Art Crawl!!!

I couldn't do that quiz because I don't have the latest version of Flash. (I'm surprised that there wasn't a link.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, the smallness of the pictures was a big issue for me, as well

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Eleven here. I had Hitchhikers but I was so sure that wouldn't have been picked by the quizmakers that I changed it twice, to Time Bandits and then toBrazil.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I got eleven, but I would have gotten a lot more if the pictures were bigger. I almost got another one because I knew I knew the guy in #33, but I couldn't place him for the life of me. As soon as I saw the answer, it was one of those "Duh!!" moments.

I'm cautiously hopeful about Where the Wild Things Are.

I agree I would have gotten more Midpoints if the thumbnails were bigger but I think they are the right size based the the premise of the article (you can't judge a film by a thumnail of its midpoint like Youtube asks you to.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Exactly, Laga. I was going to call foul on not being able to see a bigger version, but it would defeat the purpose of the idea.

I finally saw POTC 3. And, er, I really liked it. Is that okay? I think it was an improvement over the second in that there weren't those long set pieces that went on too long with no purpose (for the most part). I felt like the movie had more of a drive to it. It was pretty fun throughout, and the one major flaw was that the Calypso plot never paid off. She got all big and turned into crabs and...made a maelstrom? That could just as well have already been there, for plot purposes? I expected some more actual Calypso action, the way they were building it up. Especially since they proved they weren't devoid of neato ideas with the Up Is Down method of getting out of the Locker. I was also sort of surprised and not pleased with the resolution of Will and Elizabeth's story. I wanted a happy ending for them, dammit! That's not happy! That's all tragic and shit! They didn't need to be tragic! They were just two hot people who were supposed to be hot together.

On the other hand: BEST. WEDDING. EVER.

ETA: I went back and found that thing Zenkitty posted that was supposed to be important and er, yeah, they really should have made that clear.
