So glad I'm not the only one!
Nope. Not for yonks. I don't even know what year it was, but the 'they like it' comment sent him into the hellevator, right out of my good grace. Never to return.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Eeep. My publisher put up the introduction to my book on their website and people are already expressing opinions about it. Aiyeeeee.
probably better than having it sink like a rock, even if this isn't literary.
Movies not so much in Development Hell as Development Limbo.
They need to run them through that software thingummy.
eta: Wow--I hadn't realised Wonder Woman was that stalled.
I'm just glad Watchmen is finally ...actually I haven't heard casting news in a while. I'm not holding my breath.
What movies are people looking forward to being released this year?
I can only think of the new Harry Potter film and The Bourne Ultimatum, and there's nothing coming out this fall that is on my must-see list.
HP and Sicko.
Ratatouille and Black Sheep
The commercials for Superbad have been great, but seems likely that it will be disappointing. I'm excited for Bourne, cautiously optimistic about Superbad. Also the Don Cheadle movie coming out sounds good.
Death at Funeral, Dnevnoy Dozor (Day Watch), Evening, Ratatouille and Weirdsville.
I'm also dreading 1408 but think I'll have to go see it just to find out how overblown and unscary Hollywood can make Stephen King's creepiest short story.
