A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Hah, I loved Dolph. I had a picture of him in my locker. Green, because it was cut from a section of the paper they printed on green newsprint.

Thrive to spite them

I think the best way for me to recuperate next week is to watch some Dolph Lundgren movies, and other movies with hot shirtless men.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Make sure you watch ::goes to IMDB because she always mixes this up with the Kurt Russell movie:: Showdown In Little Tokyo. Also, Rapid Fire.

IMDB lists Brandon Lee as appearing in a 2000 movie. That's just weird.

Showdown in Little Tokyo! Oh that's a good one! And it's got the scene where the suspect breaks his own neck in the interview room.

Can't remember if I've seen Rapid Fire, but I think I have.

adds to list

I saw that movie three times in one weekend on cable.

The next week Brandon Lee died. I hope I didn't break him.

I owned it in VHS, and now have the DVD. Ah, good times.

I can't even think about Brandon without becoming very sad and perhaps a little bitter.

Brandon could have done so much. such a shame...

I was obsessed with The Crow both before it came out and after.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

If you've never seen Dolph's Dark Angel, aka, I Come In Peace, check it out. A sci-fi action flick with alien drug pushers, and one of his better movies.
