There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love Grey Gardens. It's completely absorbing and fascinating and it sticks with you for a long time after.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's not one of those "Mad Hot Ballroom" movies where a camera is turned on completely average people who charm with their averageness-- these women were made to have a film about them. What a glorious combination of subject and filmmaker(s).

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I've never seen it, but Gimme Shelter is one of my favorite movies, so I'll check it out.

I think you'd like it since you like Gates of Heaven as well.

Art Crawl!!!

Apparently, Jared Padalecki and Peter O'Toole have been cursed (that's got to be it, right?) to make movies about the life of Thomas Kinkade.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I can guess the reason for O'Toole taking the job, but is Padalecki that much of a drinker?

move out and draw fire

Is there even an audience for that? I mean, what's next, The Life and Times of Bob Ross?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I have a major girl crush on Zoe, let me not lie.

I can't think of a statement that could surprise me less than this one.

I'm really embarrassed that I didn't remember who Zoe Bell was until midway through the initial big car chase. I saw Double Dare a couple of years ago, but couldn't place her. Even though SHE WAS PLAYING A STUNT DOUBLE FROM NEW ZEALAND AND USED HER REAL NAME!
