Does it always say "So-and-so is in your extended network"
I think they adopted that from Friendster, but then decided not to do the whole network crap.
'Potential'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I have a myspace because until my own website caught on, the Spring Awakening Fan Community on Myspace was the most active place to talk about the show. Now I hardly ever go to it.
I adore that that page has clips of the speeches. I also adore Marlon Brando. And I've never seen Apocalypse Now, but the guy that delivers that speech annoys me - too bad, because the speech itself is pretty awesome.
Yeah, I was sort of disappointed by that one, Gris. And the Dirty Harry. They weren't what they sounded like in my head.
I have a MySpace because most of the people in my neighborhood do (most of the bars in my neighborhood do, too).

Which speech?
FWIW, any and all of Brando's stuff in AN has to be seen, not just heard. It's all so much more powerful when you see the ruin of a man there.
Robert Duvall?
I *loved* that when Julia got going. I wanted my friends to call me the Terminator, too.
The Golden Compass movie. This is a cool site for a movie that's not coming out for yonks. Much less annoying than, say, the X-Men movie sites.

Although Armin Shimmerman (sp?) did a pretty good job of delivering a variation thereof. Part of me wishes there'd been one flash of him in his Quark makeup (since Xander was such a geek), but it probably was way too rights complicated. Shame they weren't on UPN at that point.
I would like to register my pleasure that that Trainspotting speech showed up. I wanted to get the poster of it in college, I liked it so much.
