All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a good look for him.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I saw the trailer for that movie. It looks pretty cool.

Hmm. Just watched Near Dark. Why do we have to have happy endings? Or, really, why don't I get to decide what happy is?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

just watched Pan's Labyrinth. it was okay, but i'm really starting to see that Oscar movies just really aren't my thing.

I think Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel

Plus, Iain Softley made two of my favourite flicks in the 90's -- the Beatles RPF "Backbeat" and a gorgeous adaptation of "The Wings of the Dove."

He made 'The Skeleton Key' too, which I thought was great, thinking which makes me feel lonely.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

LIVE ACTION UNDERDOG????

WTF?!? Is nothing sacred to these people?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've seen the Bridge to Terabithia trailer a few times now, and...I'm confused.
