the original BBC series
I'm a little afraid of a longer version.
BF has had a life-long crush on Bernadette Peters and this film is one of the reasons why.
I love her. Her transformation is wonderful, and I almost didn't mind that she didn't really get to sing.
I love the hell out of that movie. The longer version is fantastic, too, but it doesn't have Christopher Walken doing the soft shoe.

Some I've never heard of:
"Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?"
And I gotta disagree on this one - this is one of the
best
movie titles ever:
"The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?"
"Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?"
Ah, the '70s. I think that was Gene Wilder, wasn't it?
"The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies" -- help me, I've actually seen that.
I think I caught the end of that on MST3K. It's a great title!
"The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?"
It's the punctuation that makes it great.
Interrobang, man.
Interrobang Man?!
