'Shindig'

How might you describe the water? It's a recent movie, and you might not know it.
For the reaper: He's got a particular mission, right? The____, in this particular case are in an area...but another word for area.
For the kids: There is a particularly evil, normally inanimate, object that younger kids like to spend time with in the movie. In a subsequent movie, this object marries a Tilly girl.

Okay your clues are making me laugh because I still have no fricking idea what any of them are. But I did figure out the dogs, which was the clue I couldn't find.
