The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I just want to say, that a few of the titles are not what I'd call 'horror' films per se. Not even all that dark, in some cases.

Very true. I'm not a even a horror fan, I haven't seen most of the movies in the game, I've just heard about them. Don't overthink the clues. Some are pretty literal, like 7, but some are supposed to be punny, like the woman with the kids, which was the one that took me the longest.

Beej:

and the Ballgown is the David Lynch movie, but what else? Not the Stepford Wives?

Start with the color

and the planets nothing to do with Mars or When World's Collide?

Mars is correct, but nothing to do with Jupiter or Saturn

Sean:

The fish swallowing a string of pearls or something

Not entirely a fish.

The three children dancing in a circle.

A more general term than dancing, for children.

The woman wrangling two kids.

A pun about the woman.

The guy with a lantern.

It's not about the guy. It's about the lantern, but other objects would have worked as well.

The guy in a straight jacket

He's in a straight jacket, so he must be....

The three people looking at a map.

a/s of the people, and why are they looking at a map?

The group of people wearing zeroes and arguing.

Those aren't zeroes.

The stairs.

I can't think of a good clue. Second word is a synonym for stairs.

The pile of jack-o-lanterns.

Their own special day.

Oh, sweet weeping everything. I got the pennies. Thanks Raq.

dcp, I got the dress one pretty early on, but the others surrounding the dress? Not so much.

And finally the stairs!

Hint for that one: count

And the woman! Now that one hurt.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Could someone link me to that quiz again? I got up to 10 yesterday and then ran out of time.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Okay, all I have left is:

Mom wrangling kids

Lost people with map

Crazy guy

People wearing Not! Zeroes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm 40/50, and dcp's clues are still too vague for me! I still can't figure out the dancing kids, the mother, the Os, the lantern guy, the M&M's purse, and others I may not have found yet, like the building that looks like a candle.

Lost people with map

One of those words is in the title.

Crazy guy

Another word for crazy?

Sean, about the woman: say the various things that kids might call her outloud. One of them sounds a lot like the title of a movie.

About the crazy guy: he IS crazy. Now, let's assume he's a variation of crazy that might lead to criminal behavior. In that case, he would be a __?

You are SO close with the map people. Use one of the words you used to describe them, then look very closely at what kind of people they are. (I needed to use the zoom feature to get this one)

From what I understand the zeroes are, in fact, O's, but beyond that, I got nothin'.

Sean, about the woman

Oh Jesus.

I also don't know the big baby.

eta: The mother one killed me ded from the duh.

Also, I'm looking at huddled primates and it seems so obvious, I keep typing Planet of the Apes because it's so obvious...but, no matter how many times I type that...I'm. Still. Not. Right. Agh.
