I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Still need #14 and #15.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think I know any classic shark movies that aren't Jaws.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C,

I doubt at your age you've seen #8.

Dammit!

The one with just staple removers is definitely the most obscure movie of the bunch. The fact that I got it right off might be a vague clue.

Dammit!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

#14 has a very famous line associated with that scene. It is two words, with the vowel in the first word stretched out quite a bit.

Because books.

Staple removers: megan's clue about cheesy horror from my childhood made me think Willard but that's wrong, too.

I need to know, man! I'm about to crack.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Honestly, #8 is so not at the level of the other movies in this group. But I loved watching it on TV when I was a kid.

It's like Jaws meets Friday the 13th .

Art Crawl!!!

I need 1, 5, 13 and 18. I could swear I know #5 - but I can't get it.
