No, it's shiny! I like to meet new people. They've all got stories...

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Dana, I'm so tempted to put in Flock of Mansquitos now, just to see.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

The guy on the bridge is shown with a rather famous piece of costuming. Very iconic to his character.

Also, the movie the scene is from is the second movie of the three.

The guy under the truck has switched careers, and people who live in California should have gotten this one by now.

Because books.

Hmmm. Thinking on that, Aimee.

And thanks to ita (and me reading white font like a big cheater) I now have #11. I didn't get at all that it was birds.

Paperclip man under truck is still making me growl.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Brain fart on the truck. Done now.

#1 still messing with me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aha! Got the truck one. And in looking back, what they chose to make the man out of was important.

Just the fecking fracking flock now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm missing the post-it covered date book (#2)

The key for me was the one about chocolate and "5 lbs."

I'll take a big hint for the bridge one

I got it when Sean said it was a sequel and someone else said that one looked like it should be from Indiana Jones. And...that should be enough, eh? Heh.

For the guy on the squares of paper, there are possibly many here who may be just a little too young to remember the movie in question when it came out, and the era it's from.

Come on! Everyone knows that pose.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I would never have gotten the truck one without the California clue. Haven't seen that one.

Strega - Oct 25, 2006 11:15:25 am PDT #4991 of 10001

I'm back! I got everything but the highlighters, and it's making me absolutely crazy.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

people who live in California should have gotten this one by now.

GAH! Thank you.

Still missing group of staple removers. Grr.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen it, but I think that same clue tipped me over, bon.
