It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Is it to the Bill and Ted sequel?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Y'know, thinking about Pauly Shore and The Seventh Seal at the same time takes me to a funny place.

That would imply that there's something potentially funny about Pauly Shore - that's crazy talk!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Oh no! I was imagining Pauly Shore trying to play chess.

I was worried that it made him feel funny in his special places.

Oh no! I was imagining Pauly Shore trying to play chess.

Phew!

William Sadler has had quite the varied career, hasn't he?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Aimee, you're going to love Kinky Boots. It was a great film.

FWIW, I really really love The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Put it on the short list of accessible French films. That is, if you like the melody that is played with considerable variety all through the movie, where every line of dialogue is sung, including details of car repair....

It's one of those movies where dropping acid before viewing would only be redundant.

Oh, I wasn't dissing The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (although I prefer the Les Demoiselles de Rochefort). Since I teach French film, there are a lot of French films in my queue, and it is not a bizarre recommendation in and of itself. It was just the "if you're interested in this, you might like this" non-sequitor that threw me.

Ah! I see -- and totally forgot your dayjob, too.
