Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

That wiki is insane, and the fact that I'm still reading it is ill.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

It's a really interesting bit of anthropology. Also, a great egoboo for putting one's own bad behavior in context.

...actually, if it weren't all online stuff, it might make a good movie!

Right now I'm trying to become familiar with Cassie Claire. I have no idea why I've heard of a HP BNF so goddamn many times when I don't even read fic. Apparently it's due to the Cassandra Claire is Everywhere Law.

(Also, I don't have nearly as much work today as in other days, so I'm into the internerd in a big way this afternoon.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, remember the days when Cassie was just the coiner of "pervy hobbit fancier" and "still the prettiest"?

Wait, that was her, right? I mean, she does have an upside?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That was her. That was probably the beginning of the Cassie-worship.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And a fine place to start. Of course, they seem to have missed some really obvious places to stop.

I find the whole thing kind of tainted now. Like, I almost wish I didn't still think it was funny, because I'm so disgusted with her and her minions.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think the LotR chick who believed that she was physically transforming into Elijah Wood/Frodo Baggins and still had people defending her after making that public wins the blue ribbon for nuttiness.

I'm still reading the original Unauthorized Fandom Biography (not the wiki post). It's pretty remarkable investigative reporting, and I can't stop reading it.
