Happier to see that than Devil's Lake, WI. I shudder to think a camp like that could be in my own backyard.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I'm (not so) patiently waiting for Marie Antoinette, Black Dahlia, and Volver, not necessarily in that order.
I want to see Marie Antoinette if only because the French historians listserv was all up in arms about it.
I mainly want to see MA because I was just at Versailles and they filmed there. Also the costumes look gorgeous. I'm not expecting to love it as I'm not a Sofia Coppola fan, but maybe it'll surprise me.
As long as MA isn't sitting in her freaking five star hotel in Paris whining, I'll go see it.
Also the costumes look gorgeous.
That would be almost the entire reason I want to go see it. Go on, look surprised.
And Aims nails it.
I got the Vogue with Kirsten Dunst in costume on the cover for the plane ride home. Beautiful clothes.
The clothing and furniture detail is supposedly very accurate. It's all the rest that is complete bullsh*t.
If Norma Shearer isn't overemoting, "I'm going to be queen! Queen of France!" I'm not sure I want to know.
