All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm not even sure I ever really understood the Gloom.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Just how many fricking CGI funny animal movies have there been this year?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There have been a superabundance of talking animal movies this summer. And that's with Pixar going automobile on us. What I've belatedly come to realize is that every studio has an animation unit now. It's not just Pixar, Disney and Dreamworks with a side of Aardman.

How did I not know about Gypsy 83? What would I do without this board?

Lost Boys into The Crow into Sleepy Hollow flows better than ending with Corpse Bride or Mirrormask, I think.
