Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Hey. New board.

I like HBC as Bellatrix, in my head. I don't care as much about physicality as weirdness and creepiness, and she can do that methinks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

and she can do that methinks.

With dark eye makeup and those razor-sharp cheekbones, I think she can pull it off.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, dude. You gotta check her out in The Wings of the Dove. She's nuclear in that flick. Unless costume dramas and/or Henry James makes you want to drown yourself in the bathtub. (I know of several people who have such reactions.)

I just finished watching To Kill a Mockingbird on TCM this morning. I've seen it before, but it's worth watching again. It's pretty close to a perfect film.
