Punishingly Intricate

Martine McCutcheon from "Love, Actually".

She would have been perfect!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh! If you love McCutcheon, you should try to get a hold of the opening 2-parter of Spooks S4, in which she plays a regular Jane caught in the middle of MI5 agents (sort of British FBI equivalent) trying to prevent a bombing in London. She has some lovely scenes with the main agent in the mission, played by Rupert Penry-Jones, who is hot like the sun.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Martine McCutcheon would have been good. I kept picturing Constance Zimmer

Don't ask me why. I just see Tonks as short and spunky and Zimmer has this gravelly voice that I like. She's American, but she could probably do a Brit accent.

If I only had a brain...

JK Rowling sure is getting the cream of the Brit actor crop for the adaptation of her books, isn't she?

Sure is. It's like Full Employment For British Actors month!

All she needs now is Fry and Laurie. Oh, and Judi Dench.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

All she needs now is Fry and Laurie. Oh, and Judi Dench.

And Derek Jacobi.

If I only had a brain...

Didn't he die?

Oh, and Rowan Atkinson.

At least we've got Rickman, beautiful Rickman.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

After Half-Blood Prince came out, Entertainment Weekly suggested Brian Cox for Scrimgeour and Bob Hoskins for Slughorn. I like both of those suggestions!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ooooh, who could Fry and Laurie play? Some characters who would interact a little, I hope.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Didn't he die?

Not according to the imdb - he's in pre-production on several things.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I wonder if they are going to try and get away without casting Charlie and Bill. They have so far, but it's a pretty big deal in HBP. Unless they do away with the whole Fleur/Bill thing.
