Dammit. I just got on here to post Brokeback to the Future and, unsurprisingly, someone beat me to it. So great.
All I remember about the original is the puppets were really freaky looking and disturbed me. I have not bothered to see if 20 some-odd years later they have same effect.
Kalshane is totally me. of course, 20-some odd years ago i was only six or so. so it's sort of understandable that they creeped me out.

I saw it DCP. It's not very good. Period look, modern speech, and Grendel that will remind you of Jodie foster in Nell.
