Yay! Thanks.
I loves me some boom.
Took 4 teen boys to see Underworld II this weekend. Sadly, one of them started having a panic attack about 5 minutes into it...so the home-escorting meant no-seeing for me.
Should I bother going back to the theatre, or wait for the dvd?
I liked the first one...not ashamed to say it.
Genndy Tartakovsky. Awesome. I think the sequel will be a little more frenetic than the original.
All I remember about the original is the puppets were really freaky looking and disturbed me. I have not bothered to see if 20 some-odd years later they have same effect.
The reference to Sin City made me go to a disturbing Meet The Feebles place.
What, are we going to actually see skeksis eating gelflings alive and whatnot?
Upon realization that these are the people who bankrolled Farscape, it's not out of the question.
A bunch of Snakes on a Plane comics. Pretty funny: [link]

No, just sucking out their esssssenccccce.....
a disturbing Meet The Feebles place.
Is there any Meet the Feebles place that isn't disturbing?
::Shudder::
Last night, I watched a tiny britromcom that absolutely broke me.
The Girl in the Cafe with Bill Nighy (who I adore) and Kelly Macdonald.
Written by the 4 Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually guy. Deliciously well acted...Nighy was a study in shy ticks and angsty expressions...laugh out loud funny and incredibly educational about the Millenium Goals, G8 bureaucracy and world poverty. No. Really. It was a hoot.
And poignant with a capital POI.
Gonna have to buy this one.
