No, he unleashes a herd of house cats on him who use him as a giant litter box.
Yeah, but where's he gonna get a herd of house cats on such short notice?
This sounds like a job for... Crazy Old Cat Lady!
Besides her power to defeat Sandman with cat feces, she can instantly create usefull objects by stacking cats!
"Form of... a cat bazooka!"
Spiderman - Catwoman crossover.
Sandman is kind of a golem then? (Nope, never read the comics, only watched the animated series for the theme song and Firestar).
I love this sentence:
While he appears normal at first, Marko finds that he can transform any, or all, of his body into sand. He decides to become a supervillain, calling himself the Sandman.
Of course! That is the only course of action!
Peter changes into Spider-Man, and manages to defeat Sandman by trapping him in a vacuum cleaner.
HA HA HA HA HA.
Sandman finds that he was transforming into glass, starting with his hand, but after managing to stop and reverse this change, he decides to resume fighting his original foe, Spider-Man.
I love all the deciding he does.
Oh, and it looks like Venom is involved in his story, so I guess that's why they're using him in the movie? Also, this guy is like Sloane with his "I'm evil! I'm good! I'm evil! I'm good!"
And oh yeah, I remember now that he was in
Ultimate Six,
which I read and I was just thinking about today because it has one of my favorite spreads ever.
But he never appeared in the animated series, which is why I didn't know him.
Joining with Hydro-Man to fight their mutual enemy, the two find themselves changing into an unintelligent mud monster, but eventually they split apart, leaving Marko deeply depressed.
Huh. There's an unusual cause of depression...
He was one of Spidey's cooler villains.
Apparently, he can turn into a giant...sand....man? And hit you with sand?
He's versatile. If, as a sand man, he stays loosely packed, he can flow almost like water. If he stays densely packed, it's almost like stone.
And I was *just about* to post the vacuum cleaner thing, because I remember reading that when I was a kid!
"God, I wish I were an unintelligent mud monster again."
