Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

Now tagless for your comfort.

I watched Memoirs of a Geisha last night. Very pretty to look at but DAMN was it BORING.

I couldn't even finish Casanova in spite of the Heath Ledgery goodness. It was just too lame.

Tonight I've got The Chronicles of Narnia--which I saw part of on the plane back from Puerto Rico but I want to see it on full sized and not through listening through the crappy headset.

I'm hoping Netflix rushes me The Three Burials of Melqiades Estrada.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

They've already posted a teaser for Ratatouille, next year's Pixar movie.

t breathes out

I've been sitting on that for almost a year. One of S's friends works for Pixar. He worked on several of their films, including Incredibles (but not Cars, Pixar people have a tendancy to alternate movies). He told us about Ratatouille a while back, and swore us to secrecy. I've been just dying to talk about it.

I know next to nothing, of course, except that it's about rats in a French restaurant, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

rats in a French restaurant

Without watching the trailer (stupid being busy!) I didn't love the title. Now that I see what it's referring to, I CAN'T WAIT.

I love how they have "how to pronounce the title" as part of the trailer.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Speaking of Pixar, I found out that the pre-Cars short will be One Man Band, which was nominated for an Oscar last year. (It was cute. Not great, but very cute.)

I know next to nothing, of course, except that it's about rats in a French restaurant

Ooooh.

amych, you've got to check out the teaser as soon as you can. Just the teaser alone is possibly one of the most gorgeous pieces of animation I've ever seen.
