You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

It was really the best possible ending, I think.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've seen the trailers for Casino Royale a few times now and I really don't understand why the hard-core Bondies have their knickers in a twist over Daniel Craig. He looks smokin' hot and very Bond-like to me.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think any change in Bonds is considered bad until the new guy has a couple of movies under his belt. People are resistant to change. I'm looking forward to Casino Royale, it was one of my favorite Bond books.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Funniest IMDB thread ever -- as well it should be, being about Snakes On A Plane.

Hey. New board.

I had a conversation about Snakes on a Plane last night. They started out confused. By the end, I think I had won them with the awesome power that is the idea of a movie that is about snakes. On a plane.

The evil is this way?

Kalshane -- Thanks. I have no patience to sit through credits these days -- they're almost as long as the movie.

Saw X-Men III a second time. Liked it better. **

I would have like Rogue coming back to school before the big battle and not being able to go. Or going and getting knocked out and sidelined right away. Something that would underscore what she gave up as well as what she got by taking the Cure. **

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

You're welcome.

I personally can totally see movie!Rogue getting the cure. Comic!Rogue still has flight, strength, invulnerability (and another personality stuck in her head because of it, which isn't so much fun, granted) in addition to the life/power-draining. She has multiple ways to contribute to the team. Movie!Rogue only has a power that could accidently kill anyone she uses it on, gives her some of their memories (I personally wouldn't want the memories of a badguy in my head) and prevents her from physical contact with anyone because it could kill them as well. So I was completely willing to buy it. In the scene with Leech we see a brief glimpse of how tempting the idea of the cure is even for Beast and he has a relatively normal life, outside of being blue and furry.

I do agree that we should have seen her deal with the consequences of her choice, though.

Unlrelated, I didn't mention it before, but I do completely agree with Sean and Matt on the stupidness of the Storm top thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just watched the trailer for The Lake House. I really want to find out how it ends. I could see myself watching it, except Keanu Reeves seems to get to talk a lot in it. So it'll have to be word of mouth.

Re: X3, I don't think there was much about Storm that wasn't stupid. Hair, expression of powers, tone of voice--ick.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

I finally got my brother hyped for Snakes on a Plane. I'm so pleased that I now have someone to see it with.
