Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Based on what?

That Bryan Singer poured all the love and attention that should have gone to X-3 into SR instead.

The trailers have looked mostly lame to me so far

Really? Each new one has made me more and more excited.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They just look like angst to me, and not the cool Batman angst. Also, I think the actors (except for Spacey) look really stupid. In a not-bright way.

I do like Singer a lot, but SR is burrowing down to a rental right now, pending actual reviews.

That was a possibility I hadn't quite considered. I can see how that might suck, but for now I'm still hopeful.

Yeah, but I'm okay with that. The Big Blue Boy Scout has never needed lots of brains. And frankly, with the trailer I saw for the first time last night, Spacey looks like he'll be worth the price of admission alone.

But he has them. He's all up in the Kryptonian tech. He's not supposed to be stupid. But more important, he's not supposed to be emo. And that's what I'm feeling.

Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Oh, that description is going to make me snicker all day.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I thik the Supe trailers look like it could go either way. There is a lot in there that makes me wince, but some other stuff (Some images and some Spacey bits) which look intriguing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I like the premise, and I like Kevin Spacey. And I like DH's interview with Singer, in which he just oozes geeky joy about the project.

I think the casting for both Superman and Lois is wrongwrongwrong like a wrongwrong thing. Unless Supes has spent his fives years away flying backwards around the Earth very very fast, neither of them should look like they just walked out of an OC casting call.
