It's on DVD! It's got my favorite theme song, ever.

Criterion Collection, no less. Plus it's got a nifty Lounge Lizards video.

If you've never seen it, the one with Tom Waits is fun. And the one with the ice fishing with William Dafoe is great - be sure to not be spoiled for the ending.

Toy Story 3 (which was to be made by Disney, not Pixar) has been canned: [link]

According to a poster at Animation Nation, Catmull and Lasseter "announced to Feature Animation employees [Tuesday] that the 'Toy Story 3' production will end effectively [Tuesday]. They said that sequels should only be made if there is a really great story that demands it, and should be the domain of those who created the original film."

They were too late to save Bambi!

WTF. It is a mid-quel. It takes place during Bambi's teen years. I'm so glad my kids are old enough I can easily avoid this and pretend it just doesn't exist.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Heh, there was a "Bambi vs. Cthulu" movie floating around the net awhile back, which was a slightly different take.
