Wash: You want a slinky dress? I can buy you a slinky dress. Captain, can I have money for a slinky dress? Jayne: I'll chip in. Zoe: I can hurt you.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But hey, she was in the mood, I actually had the funds to cover - and why not. Then when we found THE dress she had in mind and it was on SALE? BINGO. I don't think it could have been easier.
Whee!
But who knows.
Steady boyfriends usually seem to do the prom thing even if they aren't the prom sort. Though that wasn't a scientific sampling, just randomly what I saw.

C and her guy have been together 4 months and he is ok....has not totally won me over. He actually rubs me the wrong way a bit, but I can't put my finger on exactly why. He seems to treat her well and ultimately that is what counts. Still, not sure if I can see him donning a tux and being all prom-ish. Though I'm sure she would love to dress up and go to a dance.

Bother. My really yummy soup ended up being a little too salty and I can't figure it since I don't recall ever adding any because I knew the Better Than Bullioun is salty.

Not sure if I know any tricks to save it now either.

The downside of crock pot soup? Easy to forget if there is seasoning to come apparently.

I wish I had the haiku talent. Alas, I can only froth at the mouth about my kids.

Could it be feeling very protective of C? Alternately, are you sensing something about him that just isn't right for C?

Whoops, got a little analytical there. My brain is wandering freely.

Wish I knew Cass. He just doesn't seem to make any effort to know us, just C. Not that we HAVE to be buddies or anything, but he almost acts as if we are beneight him. That isn't quite it - I don't know how to explain it better through.

eta: Okay that is a weird post to end the thread on, but it was a Eureka moment for me.
