Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Did we know they air reruns of House on USA? There is one on now.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

First, gotta say I love the tiara-wearing skiier.

Second...

So there we were, driving along the interchange in the carpool lane between the 110 and the 105, and I commented about how those really high overpasses freak me out. This seemingly innocuous comment led to a discussion about how old the interchange was, which led to the following:

ND: I know how old...when was Speed filmed?

Me: Speed? The movie?

ND: Yeah. What was it, early 90's? It was then, because they filmed that scene where the bus jumps on the 105 before it was opened. Except they filmed it after it was completed—they had to CGI the middle out.

Me: How do you KNOW these things? Do you know how many useful facts could occupy those brain cells?

ND: What? It's my own personal timeline. Pop culture dating. It's like carbon dating only with the Brady Bunch.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ND & I both have the same associations with the movie Speed. heh.

Oy vey. Isaac woke himself up crying. Luckily he went back down quickly.
