Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cash sprog are adorable.

there's a bloke who's been coming to karaoke for the past two weeks who is the spitting image of ASH. Aged 23 or so. And he sings. Very well. And plays the guitar. I understand he works for a British company of some sort, and I think he's actually got a wee band of his own, or something.
You'll be calling DHL anyway for Aimee's camel, might as well send me the boy...

Or, to be fair to Egypt, possession of a pulse=doting on kiddies. In my case? Not so much.
Note to self: Egypt = no!

Gyms have treadmills
The nephlet snuck onto grandma's once and started it up. That was one of his better emergency room visits. (He's fine. Thus I can mock.)

Can I list Working The System as a legitimate job skill, or is that one that’s better left off the resume?
We should find a way to reword it, KB, but oh yeah.

Also, I'd like to thank everyone who vibed/said a prayer for my friend Tim's brother. He passed away this morning surrounded by his family with his favorite music playing to help ease him into his new world. Tim thanks everyone for their kind thoughts.
I am so sorry but relieved at least that he was surrounded with love.

I just found out one of my old friends' kids has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Oh, Cindy! I am so sorry. 2006 is on freaking notice.

People are diagnosed with scary things every minute, so why anyone would be exempt is...well, I know the No!-not-X denial is dumb, but it is what it is.
Which? True. But I am tired of either knowing or being the person who is in pain from each and every new scary thing.

I'm getting the pig!

But I am tired of either knowing or being the person who is in pain from each and every new scary thing.

This. There's people in this world that live in a "that'll never happen to me" world of denial. Well, goody for them but, dude, I can't even visit there anymore and that pisses me off sometimes.

In happier news - Owen and Olivia Rose are amazingly beautiful!

You'll be calling DHL anyway for Aimee's camel, might as well send me the boy...

Hey! Did you all notice how Cass waited for the Bitches to be stunned by Cash's sprog before placing claim on the ASH look-a-like? Crafty girl.

Herding cats for fun

Every time I see a macho truck with the "No Fear" bumpersticker, I wonder: got any loved ones, bucko? You will.

Timing. She is everything.

Though my clever timing likely failed because Egypt is asleep.

{{{{{vw}}}} Feel better.

Cash, you have such beautiful children. Good luck in getting Owen adjusted to Olivia being in his world.

I waited 2 hours today for a fifteen minute visit at the ER, but the good new is all better!!! I even ate food and drank tea today, and I didn't even have to get any IV liquids today.

Paging Steph

Tep, how does one clean the yellow from one's tub after a Honeybee bomb?

With Scrubbing Bubbles and a whole lot of actual scrubbing it has gone from mustard gas color to shades of Easter egg. So it's much more festive but still not anywhere near clean.

Hmm. I never had a problem. Maybe my tub is secretly teflon-coated.
