Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

Anybody know where I put my debit card?

My ATM card stopped working about a month ago, so I called my bank (credit union) to get a replacement, and they said "Oh, we don't use those anymore. We'll send you a debit/VISA card." It arrived right before we left for Germany, and I put it somewhere because without the PIN there was no point in carrying it.

So, if you were me, where would you have put it?

ION, I'm making another big batch of toffee, as apparently the first batch was a huge hit at the embassy party.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Raq, it's either somewhere safe, or it's in your other pants. I don't know which other pants, though.

I want to go to lunch with Nora!

I have to work too. And that pesky geography thing is getting in the way.

eta: geogrpahy? sheesh.

Our wings are not tired.

That scrub sounds just yummy. I need a good scrub. (and I have the ingredients, time is however an issue)

Raq, it might have slipped under the lining in your handbag.

eta: oh, fun number!

Timelies.

Reading through the posts, I am so thankful I have a job where I can show up in either a full suit or jeans and no one will complain either way. Ok, I'd get comments on the suit since I tend to normally wear jeans, but beyond questions of where I'm interviewing, that would be it.

I like my job. Really I do. I have been here close to 15 years. I think this is why the battle over my promotion is driving me ape. I don't care about the title change, I don't really care if I'm hourly or salaried (though having a position that reflects what I do would be nice), I just want to be paid appropriately and have a job I can count on. Is that so freaking hard?

Ummmm, wow, didn't mean for that to happen. *Hugs bitches close to my heart*

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I've decided I'm going on a sympathy strike. Jess Local 100 is walking off the job and staying home the rest of this week. FUCK the contingency commute. Yeah.

Jessica, sounds like a plan.

I am armed with Starbucks coffee and about to attack the stupid paper again. Ugh.

vw - I stopped at Starbucks this morning myself. Not a normal thing. Does that mean anything?

Hec - So, I guess the Jesus look is over for Damon, eh? Or did he get a special clause in his contract?

It means we're smart and pretty and everyone will envy us.

We already do, silly! I should've stopped at Starbucks. It's only 8am here and I already want a nap.

TEP! Today's Garfield made me think of you. Mainly the last panel. Here.

FUCK the contingency commute.

Go you, Jess! Stickin' it to the man! Or something.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe
