Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Timelies! I'm up and about because I forgot to turn off my alarm. Oh, well.

Anyhow, I'm up and about for an exciting day of housework, writing, and cooking.

Is Hell No strong enough?

Sounds about right, but there is no snow yet. I have to call in in 18 minutes.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm feeling all yucky today.

Just tired and achey and headachey and yet unable to sleep.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Congratulations, Hil! What does it involve?

I was awake early today because I have a tiny houseguest. I'm dogsitting a long-haired chihuahua. Ollie thought being shut it the bathroom was awful. Ollie actually thinks anything that doesn't involve his being petted and held is awful. The funny part is that he's so tiny that he stands up on his back legs all the time to see what's going on. It's like having a meerkat.

Going into work. Wish me no snow until I am safely home again.

Be safe, sj. I hope you can quickly find a new job where your bosses are not mean craxy people.

Thanks, guys. It's at a production company that's making a series of videos explaining math concepts, and they need someone to go over the math with the producers and other people to make sure they're understanding it, and to look at treatments and scripts to make sure that they make sense. It's just about three hours a week.

That sounds fun, Hil. I have a neighbor who wrote and edited math textbooks for years.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

AAARRRGHthunk.

Coffee. Blood of gods. GARG.

Good morning. It snowed. Wow.

Thursday night, I went on a date, saw Brokeback, and ended up staying out till 2 on a school night. Also got drunk, since I DIDN'T EAT before I went out. I threw up! I never throw up. ESP. on a a piddly 4 cocktails. I also never go out on a school night. So Friday was a funfun day of teaching on 5 hours of sleep with a freaking HANGOVER.

Bleargh. So I come home at 3:30 and promptly fall into bed, which I had been dreaming of doing with a white-hot fervor all day. And I just got up! 18 hours in bed!

BUT I did have fabu dreams! I dreamt that I stumbled onto a 2 hour Buffy movie that had been made after the show ended! I kept thinking it would only be a 1/2 hour ep, and it kept going! It was awesome!

But now I am drinking coffee, and my back hurts from lying immobile so long, but hey, who cares? I feel great!
