Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sorry, Teppy can't post right now, as she's too busy with a full program of self-loathing. Please leave an insult about her stomach at the sound of the beep.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I only just got home. The next time I'm in LA, remind me there are some people I have to kill.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I got another phone call about that internship. They're still trying to work out some details about whether to hire someone, since this is a new position that they just kind of created because they realized that they needed someone to do it and they didn't have anyone who could, but he said that he'd call me back tomorrow to let me know if it goes through.

Sounds good, but the waiting is crazy-making.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The next time I'm in LA, remind me there are some people I have to kill.

As long as it ain't me, sure!

Unless you called my office today at 5 pm with a last-minute order that kept me there 2 hours late, you're fine.

Sometimes clients just. don't. think.

Our wings are not tired.

Ah. Back from basketball practice and overfed.

Poor Perkins. Her flight was delayed over 3 hours and apparently without internet options.

Laundry beckons and yet I somehow resist its allure.

Librarian Warlord

Poor Perkins, indeed! I hope she's stuck in an airport with some shopping/food options.

So, today's candidate seems to be getting good reviews all around, except the evil woman that I work with was upset he didn't wear a tie. I pointed out that he was better dressed than any of the men actually working at the library, except the librarian who is Independently Wealthy and from a Good Family. One more candidate to meet next week.

Yesterday's candidate asked me if I got royalties from the books I write, and I found that rude.

Our wings are not tired.

She finally took off around 4pm your time. She's likely to get to Miami around midnight my time.
