Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Just make sure you get the dark chocolate one, Daniel.

Yay Jilli!!!!

Well, my family has finally looked at the calendar and are making obvious b-day noises. I guess I have to like them again. I hate that I let my expectations run amuck in my head.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

(and believe me, I'm going to have to resist asking "So, does this lemur go better with a white, or a red?")
I'll buy, if you'll ask...

A little medical ~ma would be appreciated for me this afternoon, as I have a suspicious little skin lesion that needs to be checked out. Don't I wish I'd gotten my sister's Portuguese-olive skin coloring right about now instead of taking after the Irish ancestors.
All my ~ma are belong to you.

signed,
got sunburned in PORTLAND!

but it's probably nothing.
We like this answer. Still? Sunscreen.

Home. Zonked. Zzzzzz...

I'm getting the pig!

Oh, MG, I'm so glad they caught a clue. I almost texted K-bug today with "Do you know what the 9th is? DO YOU???"

C wants to make an ice cream cake - she is all excited. I don't think I've ever had a homemade ice cream cake before. This will be new and exciting.

K-bug is having a tough go. I think it having another teen in the house has finally hit her - she doesn't like sharing mom. Somehow CJ is not a threat, while C is. Even though we have a 5 day vacation next month, just the two of us, she is craving mommy/daughter time.

Yum, ice cream cake! Good for C for getting into the spirit of things.

Poor K-Bug. If you were my mom, I wouldn't want to share you either.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My nephew Chris, who you may remember went to Iraq and came back safely, married his fiance Jenny today here in Minnesota.

Because of certain private family circumstances, they chose to change *both* of their last names to Jensen, instead of retaining either of their last names.

The name change is something he's been thinking of since his parents divorced, and they took the opportunity to make it official with the wedding.

Congratulations to the newly Jensen'd!

Best wishes to the newlyweds.

Poor Emmett. I hope he's better tomorrow.
