Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

I need to stab the part of myself that made me forget to bring my travel mug home last night and so I had to get coffee at the coffee shop in a flimsy paper cup and I spilled 1/2 of it in the car...and on my coat and one of my cashmere gloves. Mostly I'm sad because I did NOT have enough coffee and there are no good coffee shops near work and actual at work coffee is NOT AN OPTION. waaaah I'm going to have to drive somewhere to get a chai latte or something at lunch.

ahem

I had to explain FCM to my bandmates last night and I did it using Barney, Ronald McDonald, and the freaky Burger King King.

I'm getting the pig!

vw, kick some ass. I know you have it in you. And congrats on the zen calm. Good feeling, no?

Poor, poor brenda. Can the dentist get you in any sooner?

I hear ya on the stabby, Steph. Two work programs are currently down and I NEED THEM and I just got a lot closer to the earth. However, work bathroom does have free pads and tampons so it's not all bad.

Oh, dear. The Death is Not an Option version.

Sorry about the coffee lack.

Pay isn't that great though. Maybe I need to look for another one that pimps my city better.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

In the article I'm currently editing, here is the amusingly complicated sentence of the day:

"The lack of causality and the biases in model estimation due to presence of endogeneity make it important to observe the data longitudinally."

Yes, indeed. Observe that data longitudinally! All night long!

make it important to observe the data longitudinally.

Damn. I've been observing the data latitudinally for years now. I guess that's where it all went wrong.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I googled 'endogeneity.' I stopped reading when I encountered the following phrase in the Google results: "Given the inefficiencies due to the endogeneity of bloody diarrhea..."

Mostly lurking...

Money situation is not *quite* as bad as I thought. Just talked to someone in the Bursar's office, who was actually fairly helpful. Contrary to what the computer says, I'm getting two checks on Friday...totaling about half of what I'll be getting total. The other part will come after they've received the check from Mass Rehab, paying for my continuing ed class.

I swear, this continuing ed thing has been insane. I hate dealing with them. Unfortunatley, I have to.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Neither of my professors seem to feel it was necessary to respond to my e-mail about missing class last week, so now I have to go there not knowing what they know.
