Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Burrell, I posted this in LJ, but you might not have seen it. Did Franny have night terrors? I've gotten some good advice so far, but would like as much as I can get.
(Seeing your child go through these is like unto watching Freddie Krueger take over someone's body in the moves - totally horrifying since there's almost nothing you can do about it.)
Go, Hec!!!
Whoot, for the book contract, Hec!
Aimee, that sucks. My daughter had them, but I have no good advice to give as I never found anything that helped except to wait it out. Fortunately, she didn't have them very frequently, but they were very scarey.
Him: Oh no. You were just being beautiful.::sigh::
Nice Fella. Good Fella. He should get a cookie. Or something that rhymes with cookie.

Yay job, Aimee! Yay raise, Gud!
And selfishly? Yay Lush cause I bought a Black Pearl bomb for tonight. Stopped to look at an apartment that had balloons and streamers and signs about leasing, like the sleeziest girl at the bar that really anyone can take home. The manager was standing inside the gate. Being a rude bastard. Guess where I won't be living... But it was two blocks from Lush and so I went there and bought me a comfort soak.
Yay for shiny book contract!

I am sure I have missed a ton of things this week, but looking back over the last few posts I can at least say:
Yay, Aimee!!!
Yay, Hec!!!
Yay, Gud!!!
I'm a nosey mother, but glad I am at the same time. I saw something sparkly on the table and wondering what it was I picked it up and read it. My daughter's roller derby team gave her an MVP award for the first bout of the season. They played the team that they lost to in the play-offs last season and beat them by about 10 points. And Alexia got MVP! And here the girl was afraid that they didn't think she was good enough because she didn't get as much skate time as the new girls during practice. I am so proud of her.
So much good book news today! I'm so excited for all the Buffista writers.
(Or, since I'm trying not to forget my Spanish: ¡Qué buenas noticias del libros hoy! Soy emocionada para todos los escritores Buffista.)
Yay, Aimee!!!
Yay, Hec!!!
Yay, Gud!!!
And sj says what I was going to. (Hi, sj!)
Plus, I'm so sorry Trudy. What a hard week for you and you family. But the idea of your aunt wanting your grandmother with her is oddly comforting. Hope you're hanging in there.
Hec, what's this book about?
