I just wrote my personal statement for the Oxford scholarship. It's three pages long. Something tells me that's too long.
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That is absurdly cute, Raq.
vw, did they specify a page length? If not, you're good. My one word of caution is that they probably don't read the whole thing as a rule, so be sure to open strong and end with a power statement. If they are interested after the initial skim, they will read the whole thing.

Nope, they didn't. Good to know. Thanks!
Sure vw. It's one of the things I tend to do at my job, look over personal statements.
8:30 on a Sunday morning, and my taxes are done! Hazzah!
Curses, I need to start digging through my pile of unfiled receipts so I can do that, too. Quit being an overachiever and making the rest of us look like slackers, Suzi!
Sail, it is the first time in YEARS I have not waited until the last minute, even though I knew we were due a refund. I worked for H&R for too many years and HATE the process. But this year, we need the $$$, so I'm hoping filing early equals quick refund.
Thanks to Turbo Tax, I tend to do my taxes as quickly as our paperwork comes in. If I had to do it on paper, I'd still be putting it off.
I can't find my digital camera. I think it's still in the bag we brought home from the hospital. The pictures I took with my camera phone are too dark to post.
Turbo Tax rocks my socks.
Congrats Cash, I'd say I'm waiting patiently for pics of sweet Olivia Rose, but um, my tagline says it all.
Congratulations, Cashmere!
