So I totally skimmed. I've been busy.
Thanks, everyone for the well wishes. The new baby girl is so cool. She looks like her brother (and I will have photographic evidence up as soon as the camera recharges and I can upload).
For now, we're all trying to get some rest in the chaos. It's a good chaos, but it's chaos. We're healthy and the delivery was not that bad--definitely shorter than Owen's.
We're working on the nursing thing and I'm hoping it gets more comfortable to sit pretty soon.
Frozen maxipads help, or so I'm told.
(I just stuck an icepack down my pants and called it good.)
Yay, girl!
Ice is good. Donut pillows, also good.
Chocolate donuts, even better.
Cashmere! *smootch* Welcome home.
Ice packs are definitely of the good.
Cashmere! Yay! Welcome home! Yay!
ION, I am awake at this ungodly hour, because I have class at 8:15am. Yay for class! Boo for class meeting time! Must shower soon.
So I totally skimmed. I've been busy.
Cashmere, with what? My grandmother told my mother that, and I quote, "Some women just have a few cramps and out the baby comes."
ducks.
Well, she did say that.
So good to see you again. Glad you are doing ok.
Hey, Cash! Glad to see you home, again. Hope that ice helps. I'm sure the endorphins released by the chocolate donuts would help, too.
IOmeN, I left my leftovers in the car last night. Good thing the temp is around freezing.
Yay, Cash! I checked in this morning just to see if you had been by. Yay for a short(er) L&D. Donut pillows and ice - fun times. FWIW, it took Ellie (well, really it was *me*) a good 4-5 days to feel like nursing wasn't a struggle every time.
I can't wait to see pictures of wee Olivia.
ImeN, Joe is off selling and roasting coffee this morning so Ellie and I are on our own. However, we are leaving in a bit to go see what he's up to and how things are going. I'm hoping the smell of fresh roasted coffee makes bean-buying irresistible.
