Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You took membership in a martial arts secret society that demanded celibacy, didn't you? To strengthen your chi, right?

Yeah, if that's the case, where's my damn chi?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Second interview went well.

Still not for the job I originally applied for, and not for the job I was referred for, nor the job they asked me to come in for interviewing today, as the person I was going to interview with today was in a big meeting.

I'm supposed to call Tuesday afternoon if I don't hear from them by then.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I hit my "studied too much" point today. A classmate and I were quizzing each other on matroids, and he asked "Why are we interested in the Fano plane?" and my first answer was "Because it's pretty."

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I know that moment. Far, far too well. You took a break at that point, right?

I really needed to, but we had a meeting with our advisor that ended up taking an hour and a half.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Asshat encounter. Not up to current Buffista standard level (may that go down soon. Sheeze why are so many Buffista encountering asshats right now?) but still pretty big asshat.

Driving home from client, I stopped to let a blind guy with dark glasses and white cane cross. He was about 70 so ya know crossed slowly. This was in a cross-walk. And some freaking idiot behind me got impatient, and passed me on the right, missed the blind guy by an inch and fuckin honked at him. I've always prided my self at not getting worked up when sharing the road with idiots, but I really get the whole road rage thing now...

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I heart Marshall's. I just got a Larry Levine suit for my interview tomorrow for $60. Charcoal gray with light aqua pinstripes. I got a light aqua wife beater with lace trim to go under. And anew briefcase-y bag.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

go Aimee.

Marshall's is my favorite stop went I want to shop but I have no money. Prices are good enough that I can justify spending if I do ... but I can be really picky about the level of perfection.
