On the (sort of) bright side, my day at work has been absolutely awful, with amazing asshats doing amazing asshat things, and hearing about your situation makes mine seem not quite as bad.

I was looking into IPM ways to handle them but there aren't all that many predators that focus on ants. And humans have been tough on those that do: armadillos, echidnas, antlions, anteaters...
And pangolins! It's hard to tell how hard humans have been on echidnas. They face predation from the Introduced, but they're also still the most widespread native Australian mammal. Go team echidna!
