Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

She just got the prelim diagnosis and they are doing a needle biopsy today as they get her referred to an oncologist.

She is an older gal, not sure of her exact age, but I'd say late 50's, early 60's. She had such a hard time coming back after carpal tunnel surgery, that I'm just really worried...I mean, that is a breeze compare to cancer.

What is even happening?

Oh, MG. I hope they find it hasn't spread.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Suzi, much healing and health~ma for your assistant. I'm so sorry.

ION, I finally sent out my tiara to my tiara-ee on Monday. I'm a pitiful slacker. I hope the tiara-ee will forgive me when she sees it and not wish I'd kept it. (I'm not really worried about that. She's too polite to say so even if she did think such a thing.)

I find that I just don't know enough about cancer of any type to know what to expect next with all this. One of my teammates and I were just talking about how we are still in complete shock.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's horrible news, MG, and I hope the discovery is as hopeful as possible.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, MG, how horrible! And right after her recovery from carpal tunnel surgery. How utterly unjust.

Looking back, it seems like overall 2005 wasn't really such a crap year for much of its tenure, but since the end of August it has been merciless. Like Katrina gave it a taste of chaos, and now it can't stop mainlining pure uncut evil. I have a vision of 2005 boobytrapping everything in sight, sowing illness and grief and poverty and wiretaps everywhere, and twirling its mustaches and sneering, "Fuck you, losers! What are you going to do, fire me?"

Yeah, well, fuck you too, 2005. You're not even on notice. It's straight to the Dead To Me Board with you, asshole.

JZ just posted what I was about to post, so I'm just going to point and nod.

Also:

31 is only good when it comes to flavors.
This does not bode well for my upcoming birthday.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I find that I just don't know enough about cancer of any type to know what to expect next with all this.

MG, my mom went through treatment for Stage 3 ovarian cancer this year. She's now doing really well, especially for a 78 year old with half a dozen other medical problems. I only know what I learned from her specific case, but if you want anecdotal info I'll be happy to discuss things. (Profile addy good.) Also, I'll recommend the book Ovarian Cancer: Your Guide to Taking Control. I read it when I was trying to figure out what Mom's meds were and what the whole staging thing meant. Very useful.
