[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What's wrong with me that I don't have a boyfriend???

Do I get a vote in your brain? I vote: there's nothing wrong with you. There's something terribly wrong with your potential boyfriend pool. You, however, are cool and fun and pretty. Plus also you rock.

aw thanks. I mostly know that but sometimes it's hard to remember. Especially when there are people like my friend who has been single for like a minute and a half her entire adult life. (She IS an incredible person who men should be lining up to be with and she's had a few relationships that I would never want to be in in a million years. but still... sometimes my I'M AN UNGIRLFRIENDABLE FREAK alarms go off.)

Always Anti-fascist!

Every woman that asks that should have Hec around when she does. I totally think he is right(and you were my Wire pimp, too. Thanks, bunk) But you do live in the City of The BrokenHearted, LisaH. Duh. But it's not your fault then, right? ETA: I totally feel you on the alarm thing. Strangely, being actually labelled "atypical" does nothing for this.

{{lisah}} There is nothing wrong with you. But it does sound like you have a too-tired-no-exercise-want-exercise cycle you need to break. Can you find the time to just do something totally different than your normal routine? Last time I had that cycle going, I went ice skating one night after work and forgave myself for missing yoga.

{{Em}} Hope she's better this a.m. When my oldest niece was about 2, she looked at her mother with a scared face right before she puked and said, "Mommy, my tummy's flipping over!" So, in her house, people no longer throw up, they have the tummy flips.

I think what you're actually hearing is spillover from me. Sorry 'bout that.

I'm going to try that this weekend. I'm going to check out joining a new Y with a pool in town. I really want to learn to swim!

Usually getting up early early and doing something before works pretty well for me but, even though this winter has been very mild, I've just been feeling like hibernating.

But you do live in the City of The BrokenHearted
haha yeah. Thanks!

Maybe we should form a girl group: The Singelles.

Mostly lurking...

I'm home. At least I tried. And, I brought work home with me.

Mine sound like Big Ben with a sore throat...yours?

Even with the new fella (and something kinda went wrong there, so may actually be the ex-new-fella already), and the ensuing feel-good emotions, I have questions about my girlfriendableness (and I'm diggin' that term) all the time.

I suppose I should have something deep to say about what to do about that but I don't seem to right now. Other than...WHAT HEC SAID.
