Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Me no likey. It looks like arterial gush clotted on it.

If I only had a brain...

It's quite intentional. The whole collection is like that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Me no likey. It looks like arterial gush clotted on it.

And yet the model doesn't look like she had that much in her.

Hey. New board.

Who out there has a cartilage piercing? Where do you shop for jewelry for it?

Who out there has a cartilage piercing?

Oooh! Pick me! Pick me! I've only one left though. And regular old piercing boutiques. You've got to go with stainless steel or silver though.

Any particular reason?

Hey. New board.

Just curious. GG pretty much refuses to wear any jewelry that isn't her cartilage ring, so it popped into my head as something I could learn about.

Is there a standard gauge for cartilage piercings? All my current piercing knowledge is based on tongue rings.

Is there a standard gauge for cartilage piercings?

Not as far as I'm aware, but I've had the same one for years. But, no, thinking of my friends with lots of piercings - there's a lot of variation.

Doing laundry (blanket, date clothes) and the arsnfraggin washer is FUBAR; pulled my clothes out sopping fucking wet.

When I went down there, a neighbor was there and told me "That washer isn't working very well." To which I replied, "Neither of them clean very well."

D'ya think she could have said "It's not fucking SPINNING?"

Our wings are not tired.

ouch running from the painful notion of piercings ouch

Kinda happy my generation didn't do the piercings and tattoos so much because I am afraid of the needles. Ouch.

Mostly lurking...

vw, that's gorgeous!

Thank you!

vw, I forgot to tell you--I made my massage appointment. I go in on Tuesday! I have lost 15 pounds (well, 14) and it's my reward and I'm very excited. Thanks for giving me the inspiration!

YAY!

D'ya think she could have said "It's not fucking SPINNING?"

UGH! How frustrating!

Because I seem (I first spelled seam! Ha!) to only be able to talk about one thing right now…I’m home from my little trip to the quilt shop. I got a lovely black flannel fabric for the back of my quilt, the batting, and the necessary thread. The women at the shop loved the quilt top and were so surprised I was done with it already! Go me! Also, I spent a little more on backing fabric than I normally would, because I went with the soft flannel, so I must not think it’s unworthy after all :)
