Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He's just really frustrated that things keep going wrong with his health. Understandably so. It's just hard for me to not feel like it's my responsibility to make everything better.

I'm sorry, Tep. That's a rough situation to be in, for both of you.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I am now beating ( mentally, from afar) DH's family. WE had heard nothing about his mom since yesterday afternoon. Matt left messages with all of them. Finally, I got on the phone - luckily the first phone number I called got an answer. Mom is doing much better. dramatic improvements, but still in the hospital. Improved enough that the brother I spoke to didn't go to the hospital today, but went to work. He apologized for no one getting in touch- but I twisted the guilt screws a bit. I had guessed that things were improveing - but that niggiling doubt ...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Andi is sleeping. I am enjoying a piece of Gruyère cheese, one of those little 6-piece (3.5 oz) wheels, we bought at the dollar store on our outing today.

Just a lazy day after driving through many types of rain. In January. in Minnesota.

Weird.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm thinking the guilt screws were appropriate.

I am feeling really terrible again. Re-dosed the meds a few minutes ago, so hopefully it will improve and not leave me brain dead soon. I should have got the extended warranty on my body.

But I am watching the Daytona 24-hour race and six hours ago (watching delayed) Paul Tracy was in the lead, though I think they are getting ready to swap drivers. It's chock full of my favorite drivers this year. Quite the star-studded event. At least I have something shiny to watch...

Oh, and I am whiny as all hell. In case it was possible to miss the subtle signs.

For you, Cass:

Go #3!
Really big PT fans.
PT before the race. (Yeah, blurry, so you'll just have to take my word for it....)
PT's victory lap. (Slightly less blurry.)

Sadly I can identify him as well. I might be a wee bit obssessed.

Pictures made me happy. Thank you.
