if you were a yun 'un Beej - i'd say it was early for a not so perfect date - but there are more not quiite up to my best days the older I get - might as well see how it goes.
yay for Adain.
Matt's mom is gettign a catscan today - We have no idea what that means. He is waiting for his youngest brother to get to Ct before he decides what to do. Bu the did talk to his mom, which he couldn't do yesterday. While there are many good reasons to be far away from family - there are times when it is really hard.
Woo hoo for the excellent Aidan news!!
ChiKat,
I can top you for the "craxy", babe.
Ok, I have a friend/obsession on the other side of town here who is a cyclist and tells me all the time the godawful mileage he pedals just to feel macho and make me go "And nobody was chasing you?" and stuff.
I tell you that because one week in the summer I couldn't get hold of him...then I saw on the news about a cyclist getting crushed by a truck not far by crazy-mileage standards...I became somewhat convinced it was him, though in some way I knew it wasn't rational, and was like collection-agent devoted to establishing contact...it was a very Phoebe Buffet moment.
But I didn't say "Oh, God, I'm so glad you weren't crushed by a semi!"
He would have probably asked if that was a Buffista thing, though, so I could have...
Does the dream feel better now?
Yay, Aidan!
ChiKat, I'm sorry you had that nightmare. Ick.
I think I need a Hanna Andersson intervention. Seany, did you just sign onto MSN Messy?

in annoying news today when I went to the grocery store I relized my bank card and DL were at home - so I had to use a credit card. This is not helpful when I am trying not to use the damn thing.
Deena, I'm sorry, but I have to give the credit to Kara. She does excellent minion-training, and, for her upper-level minions (which, of course, include siblings), of course she wants them to have good problem-solving skills.
You have, of course, shown great grace in managing the household around said minion-training. I'm sure you will be well-rewarded when the time comes.
My theory is that you need good problem-solving skills to live with Kara.
Yeah, although some of the stuff she says reminds me of me, so maybe I better shut up.
Plei, you have my permission to spend $25 on Hanna, as they are long-wearing and cute. Preferably on ebay or at your thrift store. Purchases over $25 must be made by certified grandmothers only.
