school today for me. Last semester, I spent like $80 on 3 books (for one class) and this semester, there's only one teeny tiny book and I was able to get it from Amazon for like 12 bucks.
Excited for school, less excited about snow.
But I made it in, and I'm the only one here, and I'm sort of evilly relieved, because there was some questioning about my reliability last week since I moved to the hinterlands of Salem. But here I am! Not deterred by white stuff falling from the sky! Glad I wasn't driving though- it's slickery out there.
NORA! Yay!
The snow is kinda pretty...even if it's a pain in the ass.
see and now you dn't have to worry about snow plowing and snow emergency and street parking! Snow's nicer that way.
Enjoy your first day of school Nora. Yay for conquering the snow. I saw the pictures on the news this morning. It's very pretty from 1700 miles away. It looks like that fluffy sticks to every branch stuff.

It is. It's lovely!
And, yes, Nora. That is nice.
Yoga is one of those things I loved for years then let fall by the wayside.
Me, too. I really need to get my butt into a class again. My last class was at 8 am on Saturdays, and that's just a recipe for failure (at least, for me). There are loads of good classes in my area--I really have no excuse except for being generally hermit-ish.

I just picked up a schedule from my local Yoga Station and spent the weekend contemplating classes. I do have a couple of Yoga tapes I should probably start with though.
Am at work - dressed in a sassy black skirt. Low cut black top. Black tights and heels. So far, so good...
I'm wearing black shoes too. They're sneakers not heels though.
I'm wearing some black Doc Martin boots. They're rather worn, so I think all the sassiness has escaped.
I'm wearing black flats with elegant silver buckles. And I'm just going to pretend the polish covers up the worn spots sufficiently.
