I am at the tea bar waiting for a friend. Thank god for Internet since it appears that she has stood me up.
ETA: She just showed up. YAY!
'Soul Purpose'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Gave into worries of superstition so came home at half time. I don't think it was soon enough to help my boys. I have a sneaking suspicion the Steelers are going to win this one and knock the Broncos out of the Superbowl. Crap.
Painting my nails black to match my mood.
Fuck! Steelers just got another touchdown. Crappity.
Ugh. I'm braindead. Someone come finish my incomplete for me. Please?!
Sorry VW. Good luck, tho.
a super cool new iPod with video. What do we think of the video feature? I don't know that I would use it. 'Course I said that about being able to take pictures with my cell phone, so what do I know...
I won an iPod video in the office H'ween costume contest. I haven't used the video feature all that much yet. I think if I weren't paranoid about flashing an iPod around, I'd probably use that feature more. It'd be nice to have a couple TV episodes stashed on it for times when you're stuck in lines. But around here having an iPod in sight makes you a mugging target. I don't use the earpods with mine. I use my old school headphones and keep the iPod in my neoprene CD player holder.
I keep "Chronic of Narnia" on there because it cracks me the fuck up.
Hmmm, I might wait for a few more people to chime in but the refurbished ones are looking pretty good right now. Well, if mine is really dead. Which I hope it isn't. And not only because I *liked* my playlists and everything that was only there which will make duplicating it will be a bitch.
The iPod video is very thin and light relative to earlier iPods. The display is bright and easy to read. The battery life sucks compared to my earlier iPod. I held onto my 20 GB 4th gen iPod. The new iPods don't have firewire. Although I hadn't had the iPod long enough to learn how to use the feature, you can boot a computer off them. And that's a useful feature for someone who does troubleshooting. So I held onto my old one even though I meant to either sell it or give it to a friend.
Mine is (oh please please please be the proper tense) 3G. Pre-clickwheel even. And the 15G was really enough room. Not for everything I owned but enough for everything I wanted portable.
If I have to replace, the 40G click looks good. The price diff between it and the 20G are small enough that I might as well get the larger.
I don't know that I'd use the video feature either, but the difference between a color screen and the monochrome one I have is huge in terms of visibility, just for reading the names of tracks. Plus, it comes in black.
