I got one of my favorite skirts from Shepler's.
Moral support here, please; I just called my condescending headache specialist and cancelled an appointment for next week. I said "I've just been diagnosed with sleep apnea and I need to deal with that right now" (absolutely true) but I suspect I wouldn't be cancelling if I weren't so sick of him. I'm going to ask my GP if he can try taking over the migraine stuff, or wait and see if the sleep apnea stuff helps.
Good for you Betsy! Don't put up with that if you don't have to. (I can imagine that getting really good sleep will help the migraine problem. . . I should ask my other friend who gets migraines and has sleep apnea.)
Nothing wrong with dumping a medical professional, Betsy. It's not like we're talking hairdressers here.
And I'm only being slightly facetious.
You already have headaches. Who needs condescension?
That's it. It takes four hours to vist the bastard because he's up in the City, I get angry every time I see him, I look for excuses to cancel his visits -- just, no.

Sounds like he specializes in Giving people headaches. Making work for himself.

Bingo. Plus, getting angry ever time you see him probably doesn't help lessen your headaches
Buffy would have worn them, Plei.
I
still
mourn that Buffy never staked a vamp with a boot heel.
Trudy, she *so* did. They just didn't catch it on film, or talk about it.
Betsy, good for you.
Why do I feel so guilty about giving a doctor the boot? I have this real "Well, if you get worse, it will be ALL YOUR FAULT" thing going on. The receptionist said he wasn't going to want to renew my scrips for more than a couple of months, and I said that was fine; I think I'm going to ask my GP if he'll take over the migraine meds.
When I say no I feel guilty.
