The Irregular Choices shoes are weirdly depressing and unsettling. It's not that they're ugly -- or, at least, not just that they're ugly, but that they're usually ugly by a fairly narrow margin. They really ought to be incredibly cute, but they're invariably just off. They are the Uncanny Valley of footwear.

I kinda want the red and black ones of that style. Ah Schepler's! That's were we got our matching shirts for our set of 80s Country Crossover Hits for 80s night last year.
In high school, some of us randomly put our friends on the Schepler's mailing list. I no longer really remember the why of it, but I did enjoy the catalogue.
