I don't know the situation but I'll second the ((Kristin)) and hope for good sleep as well. If nothing else, good sleep is a very grand thing.
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Looks like everybody loves you, Gud. Smart wife, mother, and mother in law you've got there.
Now ignore the niceys and WORK WORK WORK
Not sure about the wife on the whole loving front, but yeah, work.
I'm betting she didn't slag you TOO badly to the Moms if you got nice notes from them.
NOW GO WORK t cracks whip
That was entirely NOT helpful.
Just met with the project leader on these library books (dissertations, to be more exact). He wants me to decide what is worthy of our copying, which I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with. I have to get these back today. I really was looking for more direction, not a learning opportunity.
Near tears. So frustrated.
vw, copy the abstract, intro chapter, and works cited of all of them, and then get them off your plate. Those things will be enough to enable you to track them down if you need to check them out again, but in the mean time, you need (financially, psychically, and probably also in terms of getting unstuck on the project!) to get clear of the whole stack.
Exactly what amych said, vw.
That's exactly what I'm doing. I guess I can always re-request these under someone else's name, right?
If that's what it takes (and I have no idea of your particular library's lending policies), yes you can.
