Book: I believe I just... I think I'm on the wrong ship. Inara: Maybe. Or maybe you're exactly where you ought to be.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Not even that cute - the black leather pants didn't do much for his hotness factor (imho).

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Like the bird flu could eventually turn into a pandemic! . Not that we're in danger of a pandemic! mind you. Just that if the pathogen mutates in about ten specific ways, a pandemic! is possible. Not that we want you to worry or anything... Because it's no more likely than any other bug evolving and wiping out people. No, really, don't worry any more than usual.

But it's bird flu! We always knew it'd be the birds!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We always knew it'd be the birds!
And Hitchcock knew it all along...

Next you'll be telling me that there's something twitchy about that nice boy that lives with his mother. Not that I've seen her for a while, come to think of it...

eta: context so that it was clear that Hitchcock's knowledge was avian and not how hot black leather pants should make you.

Hey. New board.

What, Hitchcock didn't work on Angel?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Coding and Sleeping

ita, I think your PT is totally out of line going over your head. Besides, what does the doctor say, that's the opinion I think would be the most important input for any decisions you make.

Punishingly Intricate

I intend to ride this out with both insouciance and determination.

I think this is going to be my new motto for Life.

Bay Area haircut needers, my friend Laurel works as an aesthetician at a super cute, rock and roll salon in Cole Valley called Vierra and Friends.

I haven't gotten my own personal hair done there but my friend does and her hair is gorgeous. I think Seth usually does her hair but everyone I've met there is really nice. It just has a great vibe. And I can personally vouch for Laurel as a fantastic waxer and facialist. My brows never look better than when she does them.

Compassionately intolerant

I don't know the whole story ita, but my head is spinning with the wrongness.

Unless you signed a release form expressly giving permission for a health professional to speak to anyone else about your situation, the PT is so far in violation of HIPAA, you might just be able to fund some shoppingmania on that error.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Those disgestive issues I had the other day have not gone away. I was feeling a bit better yesterday, but now I'm in misery.

Add to that the fact that I'm hungry, but the idea of eating anything makes me want to ralph.

On topic: No haircut for me for a few weeks yet. Bleah. I'm feeling rather shaggy.
