Bar maid! Bring me stronger ale! And some plump, succulent babies to eat!

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

my cat is running around the house meowing desparately at me ... for no reason that I can guess.

Free-floating feline fear?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is your PT trying to, what? Ban you from krav?

He's trying to get me to not take my brown belt test. To this end, he's called the front desk and told them they're not to let me test because it would be irresponsible, yadda yadda. He's also using scare tactics (on them, not me, because at least he realises I don't give a fuck) by dropping incendiary terms like quadraplegic. Sure, he says I'm at no more risk than your average joe of becoming one. But damage is already done in the listener's mind.

Suffice it to say, I'm beyond pissed. I'd type more, but it's making my head hurt to think about it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ita, you should krav him. Just to prove you can.

All is well that ends in pizza.

ita, you should call his boss, or whatever organization he has to report to.

Use terms like "lawsuit" and "litigation" and "attorney."

Always Anti-fascist!

(THERAPIST grunts and writhes in pain) ita: Come on, it's for your own good. OK. so, maybe I want to see that for me AND for ita.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mostly I'm going to ignore him, loudly, because there's no real way to stop him. He's friendly with a number of instructors, and there's no way he'll keep his mouth shut.

What is even happening?

vw, I have two books due back to the library in November.

Of 2005.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Okay, one more thing for la bug (even though I know you've already gone off to do copying work -- this only nagged at me while I was at lunch).

Apparently Sabrina took them out of the desk drawer last week, because she noticed that they were all overdue, and seems she told several people to make sure I'd take care of it.

Huh?

No, really, huh?

Can you talk to her (and, hell, everybody) and ask that she notify you about things by email rather than asking someone else to remind you? While they are still your books, it sounds like the notifying got dropped somewhere along the line as well. I don't think it's at all out of line to ask your coworkers to work with how you receive information best, as long as it's something reasonable -- whether that's sending you an email, leaving a note, whatever. Not hoping that someone else will do the reminding, umm, sometime.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

My library has an online renewal option. You can even renew when the books are overdue and you end up not having to pay a fine. So, not only do I end up having overdue books, I cheat the library out of their fine money.

Guess where I'm going tonight?

Wicked!!! Whee!!!!
